Message: Super standard, basic motel room. The price is decent—just a little more expensive than the cheapest motels in Memphis but in a much safer part of town. Hallways and carpet look recently updated, and decent amenities (free breakfast from 6-9, free wifi, cable/good TV, etc. ). The bed was comfortable and seemed clean. Didn’t have any issues with front desk/service and there was regular housekeeping.. We only had a couple issues. First of all, there was a pair of used underwear under one of the couch cushions. Other than this the room seemed clean so I’m assuming housekeeping just didn’t check, but it made me feel gross. Also, the bathroom light didn’t work correctly and the vending machine was out of drinks.. Overall I would recommend the place if you’re just passing through and need a place to stay. It’s comfortable for a few days even, but not luxurious by any measure.
