Message: Secluded Space with a View! (Our experience in May 23'). Our room was so clean, spacious, quiet, and comfortable! When you walk in, you are greeted by a fireplace (not needed in May, but we def would have used in winter) and a couch with coffee table. Walk a good amount of feet over, there's a slightly separated sleeping area and tv.. not to mention the amazing, breathtaking view of the smokey mountains. There's also a door that let's you walk outside to the large yard! Everything was comfortable, we slept well, the couch was utilized for planning our day. We also relaxed with our desserts watching TV, plenty of channels for unwinding (I believe we watched crime tv?) Btw, there's a pullout bed in the couch if needed.. This place was so CLEAN, I only wish the bathroom was built a little different, as the toilet is against the door.. Everywhere is walkable in Gatlinburg, plus you have great restaurants, the national park, and Ober Mountain feet away! Tons of touristy things to do, and public transport if needed.. *Main building is down the road, they let you park there during the day if needed. This is where you will find staff and check in (not the chalet).. Tip:. ALWAYS ASK WHERE TO PARK AND HANG THE PARKING PASS AT ALL TIMES, THEY TAKE TOWING SERIOUSLY IN GATLINBURG (no joke, there's even a youtube channel for it).

Message: This is a motel I just recently stayed in.. Pros: Best price for value in Gatlinburg, great view from window, room service is very good. Served as a good place to shower and sleep if your main plans are to be exploring the town and not really spending much time in the room. Cons: pics from website look nothing like our actual room, multiple bugs found in room, fireplace depicted is fake, on top of a huge hill you have to hike up to get there from the main strip, heater smelled really bad from not having been turned on in a while.

Message: An outdated hotel that was probably the go to place in its day. The bed was comfortable and the room clean, but long overdue for improvements. They eliminated the staff at the check in desk and so you have to check in at the Econo Lodge at the bottom of the hill. The room was terribly musty when we got there. The shower didn’t work and upon reporting it at check in the manger(?) gave an insincere apology and said they’d look at it. Don’t go by the stock photos, they make it out to be far better than it is. We wouldn’t stay again, but we’ve stayed at worse.
