Message: This motel is in a rough and tumble part of Memphis however it has an interesting history. James Earl Ray stayed here when he assassinated Martin Luther King Jr. At that time it was known as the "Rebel Inn".

Message: Mr. Andy i have known for a, couple, of years and in some ups and downs he has helped me out, by no means should I say free for all you people out there looking for a free stay. Because his is strict it prob kept me from being worst off than I was at the time they have rules there and most of the time you will follow them what I like most about Mr Andy the owner he isn't just black white he has common sense and what I call a gray are he isn't dumb stupid or slow he really has seen it all so your not gonna pull one over on him. This is Lamar and it is what it is. And there are a couple of motels that are a little nicer but none as private as well located to convenience gas. Food ECT. I recommend this place because I feel comfortable here I can't explain it I just do security didn't used to be present at all but its here now, it wasnt this safe a year ago but it is now so come and enjoy your privacy in an atmosphere that nobody care what your doing just follow the rules and, everything will be ok.
